We got back from Texas and Dad started his internship. He wakes up super early and gets home kind of late. He tells me he gets to work with all sorts of neat dump trucks and bull dozers. He says that next year he is gonna get me some trucks like that-I CAN'T WAIT!
Shortly after Dad's internship started, I went in for surgery to get a bump removed from my head. Mom and Dad were so worried; I don't know why they worry so much; I was fine (really I was). I can't even tell what they did to me! Anyways, I was home before the end of the afternoon and wanting to play! So life was good!
A few days later, I took a big step forward...Mom and Dad started me on solids. I am kind of likin the whole flavor idea! I try and help with the delivery of the food to my mouth but I have not mastered the hand mouth concept yet-so Mom helps me out quite a bit; Dad, well he tries hard, but he and I are learning as we go!
Over Father's Day weekend, we went up to Duluth to cheer Frau (Mom's cousin Kay) while she completed a marathon. She did great!
At the end of the weekend, I got to celebrate my first Father's Day with Dad, my Grandpas' and my Uncle Jon. I tried to be a good helper and assist Grandpa Hagel in opening up his gift; I didn't do too bad!
This past weekend, Mom's cousin Melissa got married (she was so pretty!), so I got to meet lots more of Mom's cousins' (there seems to be a lot!).
Mom just told me today that I am gonna be six months old in just a few days; she said the day before the fourth of July. I don't know what that means, but I am sure I will find out! Happy Fourth of July!
