Well on July 1st, 2011 Dad was/is officially unemployed. Dad and I joked it was because Mom didn't make a honey to do list, but she did, and the Minnesota Government still couldn't agree. Sooooo......what does this mean. Well, Mom and Dad had already planned on taking the week of 4th of July off, so we headed on vacation---to the LAKE! Nama and Papa stayed too! It has been such a fun week; but here is my week in review:
Fourth of July was so much fun! I got to go out for a boat ride, see fireworks, play in the pool (go down the waterslides), play at the park and go on the little tykes train!
Tuesday we went on the Sakatah State Bike Trail (guess the state didn't shut that one down!). We went 13 miles, got eaten by lots of mosquitos', and best of all Dad went super fast! Later, Papa introduced me to the big slide (that requires a lifevest) and boy did I have fun. Mom says she will take a video of me soon so you all can see.
Wednesday we headed to the Minnesota Zoo (cause that wasn't closed down either). I had an absolute blast. I was running to all sorts of animals, and even got to go on a train ride. By 4pm, I got in my carseat and crashed. I can't wait to go back!
Thursday we headed out to play a round of golf...I even played some. Not quite as good as Dad, but nearly better than Mom! HA! I got some more time in the pool, of course, got to play in my sandbox, and play on the playground.
Friday...Pete and Aunt Mary are coming down to visit. I am so excited, cause I am going to show them my tricks.
But before you know it, this week will be over and we head back to reality. I miss my friend's at Ruthie's, but Dad assures me that I will get to go back. Until then, I get to hang out with Dad, until they settle this budget thing; but now Dad and I have a list of honey to do's that we have to scratch off....good thing Dad has me to help!
