Pumpkin Patch Weekend
After we closed up the trailer, we spent the weekend outside, at home. Saturday, we went to Pine Tree Apple Orchard. I have been beggin Mom to make her applesauce, so we stopped and got apples, apple pie, cookie and even some cidar. I LOVE the cidar. While we were there, we went hiking through the big corn maze and looking at pumpkins. Uncle Jon found me the perfect size pumpkin that I could carry..."all by myself!" When we were all said and done, we went for a long bike ride with Nama and Papa on the gateway trail!
The very next day, we went to hang out with my cousins' Grace and Bella and Lendt's Pumpkin Patch. I mostly sat in the wagon with Bella while we watched the others do all the hard work finding the pumpkins.
We would get out when we would hear "oh look at this one!" After we got all the pumpkins we needed, we got to play by some cut outs and a cornbox (corn kernals in a sandbox) where Bella and I were working to cover Gracie with all the corn.
Uncle Tim and I even posed for a picture (he said I couldn't post this one, but I pretended like I didn't understand him and posted anyway!).
It was a super fun weekend, where I got to spend lots of time with my family. But by Sunday afternoon, I was one tired boy and took a good long nap. I think Mom and Dad got a chance to sneak one in too!
