There were lots of theme weekends all summer long. Rick and Mindy, our activity coordinators, kept us busy. I got to go on wagon rides, train rides, crafts, sidewalk chalk art on the basketball court, participated in parades, Halloween trick or treating and Mom even did a trike race! All in all, we had a eventful summer; Grandpa Bob came down a couple times to spend the weekend with us; Uncle Jon would bring me to the park, Papa and Nama would bring me on bike rides; but best of all, Dad taught me how to go fishing. We even won a contest with a picture Mom took of him and I on the dock.

But when it was all said and done, I had to say goodbye to all my friends, the tiny tots train, the playground, and the lake. I helped serve our last lunch, and helped Uncle Jon and Dad pack up the boat for the winter. While it is sad to see it go, Mom said I get to teach my lil brother or sister the ropes next year….I can’t wait!
