A day of firsts....
My morning started out as it normally would; I roll over and shout it is shining time (because the sun is out shining)! Mommy and Daddy came in and said it was a special day...I get to go to preschool today and Addisen gets to go to Ruthie's by herself. I wasn't sure of this business. I was excited up until Mom mentioned that I would be by myself, in a different place, with different kids and did I mention...by myself (at least Addisen knows the kids at Ruthie's). Before we could even leave the house, Mommy made me take a picture and asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I thought about it and thought about and decided a TRAIN ENGINEER. Mommy laughed and said "I should have guessed!"
As soon as we got to church, where I am going for school, and saw all these other kids lining up. I saw a little girl screaming and holding onto her dad. I got butterflys in my tummy the size of my head. I asked Mommy to call for reinforcements...one call to my cousin Bella and I was reassured. Well kind of, I still asked Mommy to come in with me for a bit. My teacher's name is Mrs. Schwartz. She is really neat, and loves to play games, color, read and tell stories; we even got to play outside at the big kid park! It was a weird 3 hours, but was so relieved when I saw Mommy and Daddy pull up! I am excited to go back tomorrow...now that I know.
Addisen had a great time at Ruthie's. It is all girls there so they played with dolls and all the girlie stuff. I do miss my girls, but Mommy and Ruthie are gonna arrange for some special play time on Thursday afternoons so I can see them. Whew. When Daddy brought Addisen home, I ran to give her a great big hug. She gave me a kiss and we didn't leave each other's side all night. I missed my girlie (Addisen) the most. Mommy cried and said it was a big day of firsts...and we all made it through it together!
