Mothers Day Week!

It was such a beautiful week, minus the rain that we got! We had a very low key week-I really like those. I got many chances to sit outside and enjoy the great weather with my coold dude shades that Mom and Dad found. I am looking like quite the stylin dude when I am wearing them (at least that is what Mom tells me)!

Early in the week, Mom and Dad discovered that I am crawling backwards. It was by pure mistake that they found me…I thought they were all out of the room and I just wanted to get to my rattle! But now that the secret is out, it is fun to move and grove. Mom and Dad get down on the floor and make ridiculous faces at me to encourage the movement (I wonder what would happen if their face would freeze in that position?!)!! Later in the week, I went shopping with Mom. We stopped at Helzberg Diamonds and I tried to talk to cousin Jenny to help me figure out a Mother’s Day gift, but she wasn’t getting my clues and with Mom being right there-it was hard. So I gave up and depended on Dad to find the perfect gift!

Over the weekend, I got a ride on our 4 wheeler (that was a blast) and I got to see our boat. I blessed it with some spit up-now it is Kaleb Approved!

Later that day, we went to my cousin Bella’s birthday party. I had a great time. I was smiling a whole bunch and even snuck in a couple giggles at Grandpa Bob! It was nice to hang out with my cousins’, Aunt Christine and Uncle Tim, and my grandparents.

We ended the weekend with Mother’s Day! It was so nice. We relaxed all day. I got lots of cuddle/nap time with Mom (dad even snuck in a couple naps). Later, Grandma and Grandpa Hagel and Uncle Jon came up to the house. I even snuck some cuddle time with Grandma Hagel! I hope this next week it doesn’t rain much….I wanna get outside!
