I started the week with a day at home...Mom and Dad said they wanted a down day from the baptism and hang out with me before heading back to work.
We all took naps and we played a ton! It was a nice day to recover from the hectic weekend! Come Tuesday I got to spend the evening with Grandma Hagel's sisters', Great Grandma Pete and cousin Jenny- I helped plan a wedding shower for Mom's cousin Melissa. Come to find out that this is a girl thing and I was clearly out numbered! So I decided it be best to just curl up and take a nap!
Later in the week, I got to spend the day with Dad. He and I played with some of my new toys, we read books, and of course took naps (I think I tucker Daddy out when he stays home cause he has to have an afternoon nap too!). After my nap, we went into the doctor's office, for my 4 month check. Dr. Hanson says I am doing really well. I can sit on my own and I am scooting in all directions. I am 14 pds and somewhere between 22 and 23 inches long. She was really impressed with my abilities and the accomplishments I have made since my last visit. Just before we left, the nurse snuck in and was talking all nice to me, made me smile and then got me with some shots (those nurses try to be sneaky but I am onto their game!). It didn't hurt too bad, Mom picked me up and Dad started talking to me and I was all smiles!
To finish off my week, Mom and Dad promised that I could go camping with Grandpa and Grandma Hagel. Boy did I have a good time. I got to meet dogs that were my size, and got to hang out with Great Uncle Terry, Great Aunt Jan and cousin Sara and Brandon. We went hiking, and had bonfires. It was so much fun. Grandma and Grandpa even got me a camping chair that I got to sit in! I felt like King Tut!
I think I can get used to this camping thing-I loved being outside! All that fresh air and sunlight (I slept like a log)-it was nice to have a low key weekend! Grandma and Grandpa said I can come back anytime...I think I may take them up on the offer!
To end the weekend, we attended my cousin's Morgan and Nathan's baptism, With all the people and excitement I didn't know what to do-Nathan suggested taking advantage of the snuggle time (I had to agree with Nathan's suggestion) so Mom found me later snuggled up with cousin Emily.
Come Sunday, it was so nice to be home. I got a good nights rest to start off a brand new week!
