For Grandpa Hagel's city picnic we got to go to Como Zoo. I had a great time be strolled through Como. Mom and Dad, of course, were taking lots of pictures! I loved looking at all the animals, especially when they moved-I tried to follow them (those darn monkey's go way too fast). By the end of the evening, I was beat (but I think Mom and Dad were too).
Later that week, Mom and I went out to Zimmerman to get my buddies Brittney and Lucas for a sleepover at our house. We had a great time; we all went to the Teddy Bear Park and walked around Stillwater. Lucas, Daddy and I loved watching the boats. To end the weekend, we went back to Como Zoo to meet Auntie Anne so that we could celebrate her bithday! I got to watch the Sparky Show and Auntie Anne took me on a train ride---I loved it. I am so glad that Mom took that Tuesday off to just hangout with me though; we both needed that extra day off to recoup from all the excitement.
The following weekend, both Mom and Dad headed away for the night for bachelor and bachelorette parties. I got to have my first sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa Hagel. I was spoiled (of course, would any of you guess any different??!!!). I did much better than Mom though. Mom called every few hours to check on me!
The next morning, she raced back to get me....much to her surprise I did not grow, gain any weight or even do anything different from when she left me! I did miss her and greeted her with a big hug (and did the same with Dad too!). After getting home, I took advantage of the time away and had some cuddle time. I love cuddle time....
