Every day Mom drops me off at Ruth's and we go through our goodbyes. They always include...Mommie loves you, she misses you, hope you have a good day and after you get up from your afternoon nap Mommie is gonna be here to get you; this, of course, is quickly followed by tons of kisses and hugs! Well one day she came back to get me and as we got to Daddy's office---he invited us in. His office is so neat, they have pictures of big trucks and all sorts of neat tools, but my favorite was his computer. Mom set me in his chair, probably thinking I would sit still (boy was she wrong!). Before they knew it, I had turn the chair and started typing on Dad's computer! Everyone thought it was cute and funny, but I was having a blast!
The following weekend, we headed to the lake for Halloween in August. This confused me because I thought Halloween was in October, but I wasn't going to pass up walking around saying hi to everyone! And, I got to do some trick or treating, play with JJ the clown, and of course go swimming and play at the playground. I love going to the Lake!
Last weekend was a long weekend, with Ruthie taking some time off. Mom and Dad took me to the Children's Museum. We had been there a couple times before, but this time I was one running the show! They let me lead the way. I played in water, balanced on blocks, ran across bridges, crawled through tunnels, and climbed walls. After all that I crashed in the parking ramp!
To end my weekend, I had a sleepover at Nama and Papa's. Mom said I should wake them up every couple hours, but I didn't! I slept in! And when I did wake up Papa and me went to wake Grandma! That was fun! Later that day, my Great Grandma Pete surprised me with a visit. She had lunch with us; she and I shared string cheese! YUM! It was so nice to spend time with her!
My countdown has finally come to an end....tomorrow morning we leave for vacation (pending Uncle Jonnie knows how to get us to the airport!)! FLORIDA HERE WE COME! Hope everyone has a good week!
