Nama, Papa, Grandpa Bob, Mom, Dad and me headed to the great Minnesota get together on Friday, before we left for Florida. I went for the afternoon so I didn't have to go in and out of all the crowds, so they saved all the good stuff for the afternoon when I got there!
We walked through the Miracle of Birth Center, watch a dog trick show, saw some tractors, trucks and cars! Then we walked past the GIANT SLIDE and Dad asked if I wanted to go---OF COURSE I WANTED TO GO! So Nama, Mom and I made the trek to the top. Mom and I sat down and I was all excited and pushed off. After the first hill I wasn't so sure, so I clung to Mom! But by the time I got to the bottom I was ready to go again!! As we were leaving the slide, Grandpa Bob got corn on the cob (that is my favorite)---my eyes popped out of my head and my mouth began to water! So I got to try corn on the cob at the fair too! YUMMY!
Later that afternoon, Mom and I went on a train ride. That wasn't nearly as fast as the slide, but it was fun. Then, Dad and I went on a Carousel ride. I got to ride on a horse--it was so neat! As the afternoon dwindled down, we headed out of the fair. Before we left, Mom wanted me to try mini donuts; while I wasn't sure of them at first, I LOVED THEM in the end!
My first Minnesota State Fair experience was fun; so glad they saved the fun stuff for last!
