In a flash....

It has been a while since I last updated this; we have been busy with Addisen's arrival. So I am going to do my best to catch you up...
After Addisen's arrival, Mom and Dad told me I had a very important job...big brother. I help make sure that Addisen is warm (make sure her blanket is near by), I help change diapers (except the stinky ones--I leave those to Mom and Dad), I love to help with bath time, and story time, and most important...I try to help make Addisen laugh when she is crying! It is a hard job, but someone has to do it!!!!
Christmas was a fun filled weekend full of family. Christmas Eve was celebrated at our house (which was probably a good thing cause Addisen slept through most of it!). We listened to Christmas music, sat around the tree and opened up lots of cool presents. It was so much fun. Christmas Day, we headed to church where I got to meet Madeline Grace and see Charlie...but my tummy was rumblin during church, so we got back to Nama and Papa's for lunch and we opened more presents. I am filled with Thomas the train stuff, kitchen stuff, and tools! I had a blast playing with my new toys and Nama and Papa's. The very next day we drove out to spend the day with my Auntie Anne and her family. That night Mom, Dad and I got hit with the flu bug. I had to call in sick to my big brother gig and stay in bed to relax. So glad that bug only lasted 24 hours!
But shortly after Christmas the best day of the whole year came...my birthday! Mom said it was my golden (not sure what that means but it was a week all about me). I got to go to Chuckee Cheese with my friends Lucas and Kaylee, Auntie Anne, Nama and Papa (and Mom and Dad of course!). I had so much fun. The next day Ruthie had a big party for me too! To end my birthday week, we had a party at our house with a Toy Story Theme! Turning three isn't so bad, especially if you get a week to celebrate it!
But it seems like just yesterday Addisen arrived and then in a flash it is 6 weeks later. Addisen is doing great (although I like to call her "my Addie"). Her and I love doing tummy time together; she grunts at me a lot and sticks her tongue out at me...it makes me laugh. She has a beautiful smile and it starting to talk back to me. I can't wait till I can understand it!
