Tribute to Summer...where did it go
During our bedtime routine, Mom and Dad always ask us what our favorite part of our day was; last Saturday I didn't know quite what to say, cause I was really bummed that the trailer closed for the season. The trailer is my most favorite spot in the whole world. I can run, play in a big sandbox, dance, get ice cream and treats, ride my bike, visit with my friends, go out on the boat, go fishing, and of course swim. So to make me feel better, Mom, Dad, Addisen and I looked through lots of trailer/summer pictures.
The summer of 2012 was filled with lots of fun, and of course...lots of memories!
1. April brought opening weekend; the weather wasn't the best weather, but it wasn't snowing like last year, and we were so excited to get out and show Addisen the trailer. It was her first night camping and we had to bundle her up in Mom's coat!
2. May brought a busy month. Addisen was baptized and we participated in the Susan G Koman Fight for the Cure (For Auntie Anne). It was a great experience to participate, especially when it is for my Auntie. When we did make it down to the trailer, Addisen was often found in her jumper. She loves that thing (this was prior to crawling), and I could be found riding my bike down the hill (with a helmut) going SUPER FAST (thanks Grammie for the bike)
3. The weather warmed up, almost too much, and we got out to enjoy the sun. I had my cousins' Morgan, Nathan and Zachary down to the trailer for a sleep over. We discovered a hammock can be built for three if you position right!!!!
I got a really cool present from Nama and Papa-My Gator (THANK YOU). I love riding it. I even bring my cousin Zachary for a ride sometimes when he is over.
Addisen was getting so close to crawling in June. Mommy used to call her the sky diver when she would lay on her tummy...
4. July brought lots of heat. We had no choice but to spend lots of time in pools or anything related to water. I participated in the Kieslers' Tot Olympics and got a prize (ice cream treat) for a water balloon contest (good thing Mommy knows how to catch!)
When we weren't at Kieslers, you could find us at Courage Center for swimming lessons, or with our cousins' pool.
this was the end of Addisen's first water babies experience
this was the aftermath of Addisen's first dive into the pool (she decided it would be fun to reach just a lil too far out of the tube and topple into the water; A quick response from Mom, with a lil help from Auntie Chris and life was good!)
5. August brought lots of fun times. Addisen and I discovered that she could go SUPER FAST if I pushed her in my Tonka Truck, and she LOVED IT.
I got to go on my first tubing experience, with Mommy and Uncle Jon. The faster we went, the more excited I got. I loved tubing, as long as the water wasn't too choppy!
6. September brought lots of busy times. Nama and Papa left with Uncle Jon to go to Chicago for a cousins wedding; so we got to take care of Bailey Boop! Addisen and I loved having her around the house. Addisen was crawling all over her, pulling on her tail, grabbing her ears. For sanity, I would help Daddy bring her outside and play with her. That weekend we went to Wings and Wheels with my Uncle Terry. We got to see lots of Airplanes, old cars, 4 wheelers, and golf carts. Uncle Terry was introducing me to lots of his friends. I felt pretty special to hang out with Uncle Terry, and to be introduced to his friends. I was so excited to told all my friends at Ruthie's about it.
The following weekend, Daddy, Grammie and I headed WAY up north to a piece of property that Daddy's Grandparents owned called Clover. Daddy took me on the 4 wheeler and we had a great time touring the whole area. This is a picture of the fire road (isn't it pretty)
After our road trip up north, Mommy let me be her Lil Chef. I helped her make soup, and bread for the chilly September evening. I love being the lil chef....
A couple weekends away from Kieslers felt like forever, so after a two mile walk to support Alzheimers (Uncle Terry) we headed back down to the trailer.

this was one of our last weekends down at the trailer, but we had a ton of fun. Addisen was crawling over Uncle Jon, I was trying to tickle him. Bailey would come over and try to lick us. By the look on Addisen's face you could tell we were having a good time!
The end of September was greeted with a BEMILY Wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony, I got to help Papa drive the golf cart a couple times and even was able to sneek a picture with Aunt Sharon (kind of). I was lucky boy and got to shake my bootie with the bride (Emily). It was a fun night!
7. And now it leads to October. Fall leaves, and pumpkin fun--Addisen got to pick the first one! We headed to Lendts Pumpkin Patch in Wyoming with Uncle Tim, Auntie Chris, Grace, Bella and Grammie. We had a ton of fun, although I didn't corporate for pictures (Mom takes way too many and I get really burnt out!). But here are a few from our experience...
The trailer is super fun, when it is warm and sunny. The cool wind that blows off the lake, makes our lake view....well CHILLY. We said goodbye to the trailer for 2012; knowing it is sad we won't see it for a while, at least I have the good memories of summer to keep me smiling (just can't believe it went away that quick)
