Trick or Treat
Trick or Treat! As soon as Mom and Dad told us that we got to go trick or treating, Kaleb was working so hard to get those words out of my mouth. All I got was ahhhhhhhhh. He shouldn't be surprised though, all I say is "hi," "yea," and mom's personal favorite "Momma." Of course I have all that baby babble to keep the adults on their toes trying to guess what I really want (kind of fun to play that game!!!).
My other favorite game is when I am eating, and I get food all over my face and cup...I like to roll it off my tray and onto. Kaleb thinks it is funny and will continue to play; Mom and Dad thought it was cute at first....now I think the cuteness wore off, they don't play it as much anymore!!
I am definitely keeping everyone busy. I love crawling up the stairs, walking around furniture and pushing chairs, carts (anything that moves really) around the floor to get where I want. I am taking a few steps and love standing on my own. I am waiting for the just the right moment when no one is looking to walk right in front of them (just you wait and see).
Now my brother has been a busy boy! He and Papa have been taking field trips together for some boy time! They went to the Transportation Museum in St. Paul, and the Choo Choo Bob Store. If you didn't know, Kaleb loves loves loves trains (I mean he really loves them); did I mention he loves trains??!!! They got to go inside a couple big trains and see a diesel train start up even! I don't know who had more fun Papa or Kaleb. So for a fun family outting, we took a train ride to Marine on the St. Croix from Osceola. Now, I wasn't too sure of the train...I got motion sick, but Kaleb had fun. So did our cousin Zachary. Kaleb and him were glued to the windows!
Another day, Papa took Kaleb downstairs to make a bird house. Kaleb did a really good job! We had to bring it to Ruthie's to show all the kids and make a special trip to Mommy's office to show all the ladies.
Now back to that trick or treat business...Mom got me all dressed up as a MONKEY. Everyone said I was oooooooohhhh so cute...but all I wanted to do was eat my feet, or grab the tail.
Kaleb dressed up as Handy Manny.
We had a great time. We did trunk or treating at Faith Lutheran Church on Friday before Halloween with our cousins' Grace and Bella and Halloween night we trick or treated to Great Grandma Pete and Great Aunt Mary, Auntie Jenny and Uncle Andy, Nama and Papa (& Uncle Jon), and Grandpa Bob! My first Halloween is in the books, and I had a great time....TRICK OR TREATIN...
