Thank you so much....
So they tell me that turning one is a big deal. Well it was four days of celebrating and than came the recovery (I am still recovering). It started Wednesday, December 5th. Kaleb and I got to go meet Santa at Mall of America. Kaleb was a little shy, but I had a blast. We even got to pose for a picture the two of us, with Santa.
It was quite fun! After, we went to the Rain Forest Cafe where Nama and I got this volcano dessert for our birthdays' and a birthday song to boot. I had a great day hanging out with Nama and Papa, visiting with Santa and having a brownie volcano dessert. But to end our evening, Nama, Papa and I went to build a bear and made a puppy; I named her Coco. Mommy says Coco looks like her old puppy. In any regard, I couldn't keep my eyes open and snuggled in with Coco and crashed.
Thursday, my actual birthday, I had a big birthday party at Ruthie's. She decorated, had treats, songs and made the day all about me! Mommy came to pick me up early, and we headed home and had a mini celebration at home. I barely made it to 7pm and I was out. All these birthday festivities make a growin girl sleepy. Friday, I got to celebrate my birthday with Dr. Hansen. No one told me that shots were apart of this whole experience, but Daddy said I handled it like a champ.
Saturday was my big party. There were so many people that came (thank you so much). It was a great evening. I was overwhelmed with all the gifts, and all the cake! One of my favorite parts was hearing Pete sing to me; the other was eating my cake...
Thank you to all of you who could come and spend the evening with me. Thank you to all of you who were thinking of me and sending me well wishes. Aside from the shots, turning one isn't so bad (for me; now Mommy may say different!)
